Tahak" Grand Career Day Equips Nortehanon Youth for Promising Futures

Northern Samar/September 4, 2026-----The Provincial Government of Northern Samar, through its Public Employment Services Office (NSPESO), successfully organized "Tahak," a Grand Career Day at the Capitol. This event brought together over 160 students, school administrators, and guidance counselors to prepare the province's youth for future careers.

Themed "Towards Suitable Employment and a Promising Future," Tahak offered extensive career development workshops, skill-building opportunities, and networking with industry and government leaders. The initiative aimed to empower young Nortehanons with the confidence, direction, and resources necessary to make informed career decisions.

Attendees gained inspiration and advice from notable speakers such as Judge Albert Yruma, writer Ms. Maris Cay Gabones, and multidisciplinary artist Ms. Ja Turla, who shared insights from their professional experiences.

Governor Harris Ongchuan, represented by Vice Governor Clarence Dato, reassured the youth that career uncertainty is a normal part of development. Ms. Rose Anne Suan, NSPESO department head, emphasized that the Career Day was designed to provide students with accurate information for confident future planning.

Key officials, including Vice Governor Dato and SDS Gaudencio C. Aljibe CESO V, were present.

"Tahak" supports Governor Ongchuan's agenda, demonstrating the Provincial Government's dedication to creating opportunities and developing a knowledgeable, skilled, and adaptable workforce ready for future challenges.#
