House Bill No. 9690, which seeks to establish the University of Eastern Philippines–San Antonio Campus, was approved on Third Reading

August 5, 2026/Catarman Northern Samar--The House of Representatives approved on Third Reading House Bill No. 9690, which aims to establish the University of Eastern Philippines–San Antonio Campus.

This bill, championed by 1st District Cong Niko Raul Daza, is another milestone for Northern Samar. Another promise fulfilled for our youth. This is not just a significant legislative step but also a testament to our continuous efforts to bring quality education closer to our communities, provide more opportunities for our students, and prepare a better future for the next generation of our youth.

This campus will be the bridge to greater aspirations and a stronger community.

Cong Niko Daza expresses gratitude to everyone who helped advance this important proposal. We continue to hope that this proposal will be submitted to the Senate for their consideration and that it will eventually become law.
